Humidification and dehumidification (HDH) is a small to medium capacity desalination system. The Humidification-Dehumidification system works on the principle of humidifying the air with water vapour and then dehumidifying it to obtain pure water back.The system is basically used for testing the performance of the different models of turbines under different flow conditions (i.e., one can vary the flow conditions by adjusting the guide vanes and can analyze the system).
